Autologous Serum Eye Drops

Autologous serum eye drops are custom-made from your own blood to mimic natural tears, providing effective treatment for a variety of ocular surface deficiencies. Our nurse will visit you at-home and prepare the eye drops within 90 minutes, ensuring you receive immediate relief for your dry eyes.

What Is It?

Autologous serum eye drops (ASEDs) are customized eye drops made from a patient’s own blood. The formulation contains many of the same biochemical components as real tears, which are not found in artificial tears.

How Does It Work?

Our nurse will draw a small amount of blood and separate the serum from solid components. The serum is added to a formulation and placed in a sterile eye dropper bottle.
