Tirzepatide and Semaglutide are injected into fatty tissue. Common injection sites include the abdomen, sides or back of the upper arms, and the front of the thighs.
Oral Semaglutide comes in troches and is placed under the tongue where the formula will dissolve. You will be responsible for cutting your correct pill dosage every day.
-
With proper lifestyles changes, weight loss can begin within the first week of treatment. Some of our patients have seen 1-3 lbs of weight loss per week, but results vary from person to person.
-
Tirzepatide and Semaglutide may cause the following side effects: diarrhea, constipation, vomiting, nausea, decreased appetite, indigestion, or stomach discomfort.
If you are experiencing these side effects, consult our doctors and we may be able to provide additional remedies.
-
To ensure the optimal storage of semaglutide (oral and injections) or tirzepatide, it's crucial to maintain a temperature range of 36°F to 46°F (2°C to 8°C). Keep the medication in their original packaging to shield them from light, and be cautious not to freeze them, as this can compromise their efficacy. Due to the medication containing glass parts, handle them with care. If a medication is accidentally dropped on a hard surface, it should not be used, and a new pen should be used for the injection. Be mindful of variations in refrigerator temperature, as some areas may be colder than others. Always check the medication before use to ensure it hasn't frozen. Notably, medications can last unrefrigerated for up to 21 days, provided the temperature doesn't exceed 86°F (30°C). It's advisable to store the pen in its original carton to protect it from light during this period.
-
Tirzepatide combines two medication classes, GLP-1 and GIP, whereas semaglutide includes only GLP-1. Patients have reported notably fewer nausea symptoms with Tirzepatide.
-
For optimal results, we suggest adopting healthier eating habits and engaging in regular physical activity. Emphasizing a diet rich in protein, healthy fats, and fiber, while minimizing processed foods, is highly recommended.
-
Maintaining a stable weight after discontinuing Semeaglutide and Tirzepatide is possible, thanks to the positive lifestyle changes these medications encourage. However, returning to unhealthy eating and lifestyle habits may lead to weight gain.

IV Therapy Questions
-
IV therapy, also known as intravenous therapy, is a medical treatment that involves administration of fluids, vitamins, minerals, and other beneficial substances. IV therapy involves the insertion of a thin plastic tube, known as a catheter, into a vein to administer fluids, medications, or other treatments directly into the bloodstream.
-
IV therapy offers numerous benefits that can greatly enhance your overall well-being. Here are some of the key advantages:
Hydration: IV therapy delivers fluids directly into your bloodstream, ensuring rapid and effective hydration. This is especially beneficial for individuals who may be dehydrated due to illness, intense physical activity, travel, or excessive alcohol consumption. Proper hydration can improve energy levels, mental clarity, and overall bodily function.
Nutrient Optimization: IV therapy allows for targeted delivery of essential vitamins, minerals, and antioxidants directly into your bloodstream. By bypassing the digestive system, which can sometimes limit nutrient absorption, IV therapy ensures that your body receives the full benefits of these vital nutrients. This can boost your immune system, support cellular function, improve energy levels, and promote overall health and vitality.
Enhanced Athletic Performance and Recovery: Athletes often turn to IV therapy to optimize their performance and facilitate faster recovery. IV drips can provide key nutrients and electrolytes to replenish the body’s reserves, reduce inflammation, and accelerate muscle recovery. This can lead to improved athletic performance, reduced fatigue, and minimized downtime between workouts or competitions.
Boosted Immune System: IV therapy can give your immune system a much-needed boost by providing a concentrated dose of immune-boosting vitamins, such as vitamin C and zinc. This can strengthen your body’s defense mechanisms, help fight off infections, and shorten the duration of illnesses.
Detoxification: IV therapy can support your body’s natural detoxification processes by providing antioxidants that help neutralize harmful free radicals. These antioxidants can aid in removing toxins from your system, rejuvenating your cells, and promoting overall detoxification.
Increased Energy and Vitality: By replenishing essential nutrients and optimizing hydration levels, IV therapy can significantly increase your energy levels and promote a general sense of vitality. This can be particularly beneficial for those experiencing fatigue, jet lag, or high levels of stress.
Quick Relief and Recovery: IV therapy offers rapid relief and recovery, as the nutrients and fluids are delivered directly into your bloodstream for immediate absorption. This can be advantageous for individuals who require fast rehydration or seek prompt relief from hangovers, migraines, or illness symptoms.
-
While IV therapy is generally considered safe, there can be some potential side effects, although they are rare. It’s important to be aware of these possible side effects:
Infection: Although strict sterile techniques are followed during IV therapy administration, there is a slight risk of infection at the injection site. This risk can be minimized by ensuring that all equipment and materials used are properly sterilized.
Allergic reactions: In some cases, individuals may experience an allergic reaction to the substances used in IV therapy, such as vitamins, minerals, or other additives. Signs of an allergic reaction can include itching, rash, swelling, difficulty breathing, or dizziness. If you have known allergies, it’s crucial to inform the healthcare professional beforehand.
Phlebitis: Phlebitis is the inflammation of the vein, which can occur as a result of IV therapy. Symptoms may include pain, redness, or swelling at the injection site. This can typically be managed with warm compresses and resolves on its own.
Fluid overload: Excessive fluid administration, especially in individuals with compromised kidney or heart function, can lead to fluid overload. Symptoms may include shortness of breath, swelling in the legs or ankles, or sudden weight gain. It’s important to ensure that the IV therapy treatment is tailored to your specific needs and medical history.
Electrolyte imbalances: IV therapy can impact the electrolyte balance in your body. It’s crucial to monitor electrolyte levels carefully to avoid potential imbalances, which can lead to complications such as irregular heart rhythms or muscle spasms.
Bruising or hematoma: Sometimes, slight bruising or a small collection of blood under the skin (hematoma) may occur at the injection site. This is usually harmless and resolves on its own.
It’s essential to discuss any concerns or potential risks with a qualified healthcare professional before undergoing IV therapy. They will assess your medical history, current health status, and provide appropriate guidance to minimize the likelihood of side effects.
